Wild woman, mother, sister and lover
Wild woman, mother, sister and lover
We'll heal the earth
I want you to hear
We'll heal the earth
I want you to see
We'll heal the earth
I want you to know
We'll heal the earth
I want you to be
Wild woman, mother, sister and lover,
Wild woman, mother, sister and lover.......

Song by Jeannine Parvati Baker

“FREEBIRTH: Earth-Based Midwifery,” a recording of one of her
students’ favorite seminar lectures. Please support JP’s family by

Jeannine Parvati, our beloved goddess sister, passed away yesterday
morning…. With a peaceful smile on her lips and her hand in Rico's,
she took her last breath and left her ravaged body to soar freely on.
She died just as the new moon birthed into being; December 1, 11:11
a.m. I take a long slow breath myself, trying to hold on to my
little world as friends and loved one's pass on, though the message
they leave us with is just the opposite ~ to open up fully to all that
life has to offer, to let go and love each day fully as the fleeting
gift it is. It's not always an easy lesson to grasp but as special
friends in our circle move on, the teachings become ever more poignant.

I'll miss Jeannine terribly. I've known her for almost 35 years and
there really was no one else quite like her. She was one of the most
beautiful woman I know, both visually and spiritually, and also one of
the most complex and challenging. She danced between being warrior
goddess, moon mother, crone and child all in one. In a single
conversation we could dance between all of these. She was the ultimate
crafter of `word magic' as she liked to call it, a true Gemini.
Listening to her, at times, I was amazed at the brilliance of her mind
and how poetically she could describe her world.

Those poems written during the last year of her life are so raw and
powerful, some of the best she'd ever written, and they spoke of her
surrender, her healing and her rebirth. She had done the work she had
come here to do…..

...Thank you, Jeannine. In every way you were a teacher to me as you
were to so many others. It's no exaggeration to say that your life has
touched thousands of people through your writings, your teachings, and
just your wild wonderful way of being. And your work will continue to
touch people for generations. You truly were a goddess on earth in all
your marvelous beautiful complexity. Medusa, Kali, Venice, Diana,
Persephone, Hygia, Panacea, Hecate all danced through you. And now
you're dancing with them, one of the star beings…..radiant in your
light and freedom.

May you feel our love strongly, brilliantly, the love of thousands of
people who are lighting their heart candles for you, not to hold you
back or to call you `planetside' but to create a radiant path of
starlight for you to help guide you home to the spirit realms. You are
loved and you will always live on in our hearts…..you will always live
on in our hearts…

" A luminous light remains where a beautiful soul has passed.”
~ A. Boveua

Never the Spirit was born
The spirit shall cease to be never.
Never was time, it was not.
End and beginning are dreams.
Birthless, deathless, changeless
Remains the spirit forever.
Death has not touched it at all
Dead though the house of it seems

~ Bhagavad Gita
